Healthy Living, Northshire,Bow Tie - That’s a true Saratoga Trifecta!

They are coming here and the Saratoga Chamber got to hear why Saratoga and what's down the road at the Chamber's monthly breakfast.

Hosted by Adirondack Trust, bank president, Charles V Wait gave a heart-felt welcome to Eli Lesser-Goldsmith of Healthy Living, Joe Masher of Bow•Tie Cinemas and Chris Morton of Northshire Bookstore.

The more than 120 at the breakfast at the Gideon Putname March 21 were there with Charles to say You are welcome and the community will support you.

Eli Lesser-Goldsmith had exciting news to report. Healthy Living was opening its doors for the first time as he spoke. And after the Breakfast he would joining Katy Lesser (mother) and his sister, Nina at the Wilton Mall.

Eli might have had problems parking at the Mall. The parking area near Healthy Living at already filled before the doors opened..

Katy commented she was overwhelmed by the response and aisles, take-out counters were jammed throughout the day.

Joe Masher and Chris Morton are waiting for Sonny Bonaio and his crews to finish 422 Broadway (wrapped like a Christo project) and the Movie Theatre off Church Street. Those projects will be complete and ready-to-go before the racing season.

All commented on the vibrant Saratoga economic and cultural environment.

Chris Morton said that after Borders closed its Broadway store, he had received email and phone messages suggesting he take a look at Saratoga. He did and Northshire will have its second store opening this summer.

Joe Masher whose firm started over 100 years ago (oldest chain of cinema distributors in America) is concentrated here in the East. One outpost in Colorado (someone likes skiing).

With Regal closing its Wilton Mall theatre, downtown Saratoga was irresistible. Bow•Tie will also be redoing and reopening the cinema theatres at the Wilton Mall.

Eli said Healthy Living located in Burlington, Vermont had investigated opening another store featuring the Cafe and the emphasis on healthy natural foods.

We decided 150 mile radius from Burlington would be farthest we could go. Saratoga and Wilton is 151 miles from Burlington but what's a mile more.
