That's the promise Bob Fortune of BCI Construction made to guests at the ground-breaking ceremonies for the new Garage in Saratoga Springs.
Located off Woodlawn Avenue behind Broadway guests and
shovel- wielders (ones in the hard hats) spaded-off the March 20 to start the $4.75 million project that promises to triple the current parking spaces available for Broadway visitors.
That's four months to complete the project. And in the meanwhile parking will be a little tighter in downtown Saratoga Springs. But Bob says everyone will be back in July to cut the ribbon to start parking and Mayor Scott Johnson says he will drive his car through the ribbon to be the first vehicle officially parking.
This has been a public/private cooperative enterprise. The City, Special Downtown Assessment District and the Saratoga County Industrial Development Agency are all pitching to help solve the parking problem in downtown Saratoga. Until July just look a little harder for your spot.
