Once again, the Saratoga Lions were a major force behind the Alfred Z Solomon Health Fair the first Saturday of November. This year, the Red Cross blood
drive collected 88 units of blood. This despite a lack of Red Cross volunteers leading to a constant one hour waiting period after 10am. The huge number of donors meant the drive had to go roughly one and a half hours past its scheduled ending time. Despite this, only one potential donor left due to the backup.
