Miltonís new accessible playground

The goal isnít to create a playground just for children with special needs, itís to create a playground that offers all the children the same opportunity for fun, whether their development has disabilities or is more typical.

Krystyn LeBate and her son Giovanni joined representatives from the Town and the State to break the ground on the new playground site. Krystyn first became involved in the creation of this new playground when she saw that her son was having difficulty with the equipment in Burges Kimble Memorial Park, and the Town agreed that a more universally accessible park would be a great thing for the community.

Krystyn, is spearheading the efforts of the Cortical Malformation and Cephalic Disorder Foundation to act as a partner to the town in gaining the equipment to complete the new park. If you want to learn more about the project, visit
