Ryan’s Run on May 21 at the Spa Park saw the Dorothy Nolan Run Girls Run and the Ballard Runners and neighbors and lots of strollers. and people who came to run - but mostly people who were there to support Paul and Barbara Wersten in their fight against MIOP (Malignant Infantile Osteopetrosis) a rare bone disease that effects perhaps 20 infants every year in America.
Rare diseases are orphans without support for research.
Paul Wersten spoke of how Ryan’s Run was helping research. And Barbara talked ofhow families could be given support.
If you weren’t able to run for Ryan, visit curemiop.org and see how you can help.
