Families need support when they face (MIOP) Malignant Infantile Osteopetrosis. Paul and Barbara Wersten know. They lost their son, Ryan, to MIOP.
That's why Paul and Barbara started Ryan's Run to raise funds to support families and research on MIOP.
May 11 - the day before Mother's Day, saw the seventh Ryan's Run held in the Spa. Despite the light drizzle the parking lot was filled with walkers, runners and strollers come to fight MIOP.
Barbara is a teacher at Dorothy Nolan and teachers from Dorothy Nolan and the Teachers Association were at the Spa to help.
